Project RatRayRoo is an experimental business created to share a unique process of creation with the world. All of RatRayRoo's designs begin with an inkblot created by ink covered hands slapped carelessly on a page. That inkblot is then reworked over 20+ layers by just drawing what the brain sees in the ink and adding when it sees more. No design has an intended outcome. 

Why?

By letting go of expectations and letting the subconscious create meaning, the end product becomes something greater than our expressed selves. It becomes a glimpse into our inner selves.

We are raised to think mistakes are bad despite the paths they open and perspectives they change. This process teaches not to draw “well” but to shift mindsets and grow flexibility. If a piece gets negative, adding a helping hand and more color gives hope. over the course of a few days pieces will become completely positive but by seeing the positive within the negative, not covering it up.

Finding hope inside yourself is a skill that can be taught, nurtured, and natural.
